Qualification Requirement:

BE – GeoInformatics, MSc Spatial Sciences, BE/B-Tech, MBA

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bid management, pre-sales, or business development roles, preferably within the GIS, AI, data analytics, or IT professional services sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully responding to RFPs and securing new business.
  • Experience in preparing and delivering client presentations and proposals.
  • Strong understanding of the GIS domain, AI, data analytics, and IT professional services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proposal management software

Job Responsibilities

  • RFP Management:
    • Review and analyze RFPs to understand client requirements and develop tailored responses.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information and develop comprehensive proposals.
    • Ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals that meet client specifications and align with IST’s strategic goals.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Engage with clients to clarify requirements, address queries, and build strong relationships.
    • Conduct client presentations and demonstrations to effectively communicate IST’s solutions and capabilities.
    • Provide pre-sales support by offering technical and strategic insights to potential clients.
  • Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching market trends and client needs.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for obtaining new business and achieving sales targets.
    • Maintain a pipeline of potential leads and track progress through the sales cycle.
  • Proposal Development:
    • Write, edit, and review proposal content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and persuasiveness.
    • Develop pricing strategies and ensure cost-effective solutions are proposed.
    • Manage the proposal approval process and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with technical teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure proposal content is accurate and feasible.
    • Mentor and guide junior team members in bid management and proposal development.
